Professional Disc Jockey Shaina Windsor, known as “DJ Lady Shay," female DJ based in Tampa, FL She has an unparalleled reputation in Tampa /Clearwater and Orlando. DJ Lady Shay has overcome the barriers of a male dominated profession and become a driving force that is spearheading a new chapter for female DJs. DJ Lady Shay is a Mix/Blend Turntablist DJ, not a button pusher. She understands the true art of mixing and is incredible to watch, and hear, as she spins on turntables. Her music repertoire spans from disco to current pop, hip hop,old school, dancehall, calypso and soca music. She has an incredible presence on the microphone as a professional MC. DJ Lady Shay was born and raised in Delray Beach, FL, from her Jamaican parents. Her music talents are deeply rooted to her father who was a well-respected house DJ who drew popularity in the Jamaican house party scene. DJ Lady Shay graduated from the University of Central Florida. While in Orlando studying, she was a recipient of the industries most coveted internships at Orlando's premiere radio stations, 102 Jams and Power 95.3, where she served as radio promotions and DJ. She was a frequent DJ in Orlando's club scene from 2006 to 2011 at multiple clubs like Firestone, Tabu, Element, and Orlando Magic pre-game events. In 2011, DJ Lady Shay moved to Tampa where she has really made a name for herself and gained quite a following on the corporate, schools, and club scene. She was a resident DJ at TGI Fridays in New Tampa, Club Applebees near USF, and at summer pool parties at Island Walk Apartments. She also worked popular clubs/bars in Ybor City such as Gaspar's Grotto, Double Decker, and Tequilas Ybor. Currently DJ Lady Shay is a resident DJ at MacDinton's Soho, Rocco's Tacos & Jamminz Beach Bar in Clearwater.
